  • Jimmy- they are not claiming lack of health insurance as their defense. Even that would not hold up because a reasonable and prudent person would take their child to the ER for help even if they had no money because the child would be seen irrespective of their ability to pay.

  • This is absolutley the owner's fault. One has to question what they do to these dogs to make them this way. Mastiffs are very gentle dogs by nature. They are not usually involved in this type of violent attack. I wish I could say the same of Pit bulls. I agree that these animals should be put down.

  • it is called something else now- AFDC- I think it stands for assistance for families with dependent children. It is cash assistance and they get cash based on the number of children and the household income. It just is not called welfare.

  • Not all Doctors are crooks. But most Doctors don't want to deal with all of the paperwork and restrictions involved in accepting Medicare, only to get a pay cut every year.
